Stench of Sorcery is a Castle Metal project forged in epic atmosphere and storytelling, channeling tales of inner struggle, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of light beyond despair.

Through crushing riffs, haunting soundscapes, and evocative lyrics, the project opens the gates to the Execrated Lands, a cursed realm where ancient powers awaken, the balance of the realm begins to fracture, and the world trembles beneath the shadow of eternal night.

The debut EP “Unseen Battles” unveiled a world consumed by decay and hopelessness, exploring the deepest chambers of despair through oppressive atmospheres and cavernous growls.

Soon after, the EP “Spellcaster” emerged as a colder and more primal chapter, a transitional release that expanded the lore of the Execrated Lands while experimenting with harsher textures and new vocal expressions. 

Now the saga advances with the upcoming LP “The Palegold Menace.” A darker and more refined continuation of the path begun in Unseen Battles, the album deepens the mythology of the Execrated Lands. The first single, “Here in the Dark,” marks the opening of this chapter. A tale of dark rituals, unleashed powers, and the looming hunt for the Warden of the Last Dawn Light. Many secrets and forgotten legends remain hidden in the shadowed corners of the realm, waiting for those bold enough to uncover them.

With the release of “Stain of Suspicion,” the path begins to fracture. As the journey unfolds, doubt takes root between Alric and the Spellcaster, and unseen forces tighten their grip upon the fate of the Execrated Lands. What once was a shared purpose now trembles under the weight of mistrust, as the shadows of Gorth’s design begin to surface.
