The omen awakens.
Once a king of Targalor, Alric now walks the line between will and corruption, his soul slowly consumed by the dark design of Gorth.
After the curse was sealed upon him by Eakhrion, Alric refused to surrender to his fate.
Driven by desperation, he sought the Spellcaster in the Black Mountains of Evil, a figure whispered of in forbidden tongues. The ritual that followed did not break the curse, but bound it, halting its advance at a terrible cost. His flesh, once mortal, was transmuted into a lifeless golden hue. A mark not of purity, but of containment and arcane interference.
Gold, long revered as a conduit of power in ancient rites, became both his shield and his prison.
Neither living nor dead, his fate begins to take shape as the first signs of his downfall emerge. Though the corruption slowed, it did not cease. What was saved of Alric… may yet be something else entirely.
